PrimePrevention Kick-Off Meeting

The PrimePrevention kick-off event was held in the rooms of the Jade Innovation Center Wilhelmshaven from 09.04. - 11.04.2024. The group of participants used this setting intensively as a platform to make personal contact in a relaxed atmosphere. Presentations and discussions in specific working groups provided the opportunity to get to know the expertise and tasks of colleagues from the various disciplines in the context of PrimePrevention. The focus of the kick-off event was the interdisciplinary networking of all participating scientists. The lively and constructive discussions, as well as numerous conversations over a cup of coffee, created a common understanding of what the first steps towards the project goals should be, how the project goals of the individual partners are interlinked along the way and what contribution they will ultimately make to the overarching goals of PrimePrevention, MareExtreme and the DAM. The kick-off event ended with a joint dinner. Over good food and a glass of wine, everyone agreed that all participants were looking forward to their joint work in PrimePrevention.
